Our Story

When Ken and Brooke Stillwell, co-owners of Southboro Wellness, began discussing the idea of opening a business together they weren’t sure where it would lead.  Brooke is a chiropractor and has always loved helping others on their path to whole health, so the thought of opening a health-related business was on the fore front of both of their minds.  2017 was a difficult year and after watching a very close family friend and Ken’s mother struggle, suffer, and lose their battle with cancer within a month of each other, Ken and Brooke knew without a doubt that they wanted to help and encourage people in their community to be proactive and preventitive with their health and become more wellness-minded.  Thus, Southboro Wellness was born, a store that provides an amazing shopping experience in a relaxed atmosphere with a happy, upbeat vibe.   At Southboro Wellness, you can stop in at your convenience and shop our whole food supplements, herbal products, essential oils, and non-toxic body and home products.   Southboro Wellness also provides nutritional advice, chiropractic care, and wellness education that focuses on topics such as exercise, stress management, and toxicity.  We offer these things to you, our customer, with the goal of promoting your overall health and assisting you on your path to Living Your Best Life!

Meet the Owner

Brooke is beyond excited to be taking on this new business adventure at Southboro Wellness.  She graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2002 and has a bachelor’s degree in Biology from St. Vincent College in Latrobe, PA.  Since 2002, Brooke has been helping family, friends, and patients live their best lives through chiropractic adjustments, wellness education, and nutritional advice.  Out of college, Brooke began work as a chiropractor in Rockville, Maryland.  In 2005 Brooke, her husband, Ken and two small children moved back to their home town in the suburbs of Pittsburgh, PA.  She then went to work part time at Bompiani Chiropractic Clinic with her father, Tony, who is also a chiropractor.  It was during this time that Brooke became involved with nutritional work.  She was dealing with health issues of her own and along the path of improving her own health, she stumbled upon a Standard Process conference. Brooke was so impressed with the information presented that she began to diligently work on her own health- first doing a 21 day purification and then working with various other supplements and dietary/lifestyle changes.  When Brooke saw the results in her own body, she began using supplements and nutritional advice with her family and friends.  Eventually she took her work to her patients and has been periodically attending seminars and conferences ever since in order to continually improve her education and knowledge base.  Over the years Brooke has seen amazing things happen in the lives of people she works with.   She uses chiropractic care, nutritional advice, and wellness education to aid the body in doing what it is already designed to do- HEAL and BE HEALTHY!  In practice, Brooke is daily reminded of the incredible healing power of the human body when it is treated well and cared for properly.  Brooke always strives to give each person that comes through Southboro Wellness her undivided attention and focused care.  She hopes to teach her community that we don’t have to live in a paradigm of fear when it comes to our health and the health of our families.  Knowledge is power and through education and lifestyle changes there is no limit to how the body can heal.  It is Dr. Brooke’s firm belief that healing comes from the inside out and it starts by changing your own mind set.
